- Stable internet connection during the whole workflow.
Tip: temporarily disable aggressive antivirus rules if they block local services.
How it works (step-by-step)
Purchase & get the program
After payment, you receive an activation key and a download link. The timer starts after payment.
Download & launch
Download the MBSoft client from the provided link.
Activation
On the first launch, the MBSoft client will ask for an activation key. Paste the key and click “Activate”.
Use MBSoft features
— Search by software number; download the file or copy a direct link.
— In the Software Search tab, filter by ECU name, hardware number, model, or current VIN (if that VIN exists in our DB).
— If an ECU has more than one software version, double-click to open the list and download all versions at once.
— In the Coding Search tab, find codings by model, current VIN, ECU name, variant, hardware number, or software number.
— Double-click a row to open coding details; view codings and download the AED file.
— In the SMR-d & CBF tab, browse all versions. Engineering files are highlighted.
— Search by SA codes. For example, to find codings for HLI_FR253 on W213 with Multibeam headlights, search for SA code 642.
Extend or renew
When the activation time ends, purchase another activation key and re-activate the program.

Timer start — when exactly?
At the moment of successful payment.
Can I move to another PC?
Access is locked to one system at first run. To use another PC, you’ll need to purchase a new activation key. If you formatted the system or changed your laptop, please contact the support team.
The program doesn’t start or doesn’t work
The program requires an active internet connection to our server. If your network blocks the connection, try a different network or a VPN.
Antivirus flags the app
Add MBSoft to exceptions or temporarily relax antivirus rules during activation/operation.
